What a blog can and cannot do

It's well said that when the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. I can tell you that not everyone or business needs a blog. It is essential to know what a blog can and cannot do. It is equally important to know the importance of a blog and maximize the user experience for yourself and business. you should know that...

Your Blog is

Free advertisement, Period!

Just remove the price tag. Without volume of words or advertisement, your clients can decide, if you are the one for the job.

Your Brand Expert

Depending on user focus, your blog directly positions you as an expert or a professional, knowledgeable and yet fun, approachable individual.

—Direct Train to your clients.

Without missing words, your blog gives you direct link to your clients, to follow their progress, get referrals and opportunities for an enhanced customer experience. How about asking your client to send a picture of a real experience of a wedding dress, cloth or bag. It's a million times better than a dress on a hanger.

—Your on-board update

It enables your client to be up-to-date on the progress of your business, cause or discipline. Many photography services operate a blog-like operation because photography is a first class sight experience. If you a beautician, having a blog gives your clients a firsthand taste of your treatment procedures. If you are a wedding vendor or planner, through a wedding blog related service, your clients have a clue on what  to expect as well as gets an idea of your creative portfolio especially relating to past events.

— Your 24 hour Assistant Operator.

Your blog is that personal assistant that never goes home, to sleep and continually attends to your client everyday and moment of the week, yet with little or no salary.

—The Anti-Operation Squad

To be honest, there are so many competitors out there. Everyone trying to catch your attention and that of your client. If you give the room, your clients would be long gone, before you spell the word Jack. So your blog keeps you and your client focused, flexible and makes you a step ahead of your competitors

—The Spy on your Team

Your Blog gives your more information than a survey. By first hand information through shares, comments, replies and updates, you can get to know what your customers are interested in. It is your best access to referrals and definitely that spy in your closet that tells you what people are doing behind your back. Just install and look at your analytic/insights (Facebook).
