7 Must-Have for your Blog!

It's absolutely not all about writing. It's definitely not just about the game of marketing your blog or asking people to follow your blog. Before you jump out to call out fans to see your blog or read an essential post. Make sure you've ticked all these boxes right. You don't want to miss out readers because you paid little attention to the ever, ever, ever essential (must-have) elements in a blog.

Have fun! Don't forget to share and comment.

So, 7 Must-Have's for your Blog, let's begin...

YOUR BLOG MUST

—Have a Blog Title
This is no brainer really; no title, no blog. The key point however is to optimize your blog title such that it is not too wide that your blog looses definition or too narrow that your loose your readership. Find a niche. keep it simple and make the title well rounded for it.

—Have a Tag Line
Your tagline makes it easy for readers to know your unique selling point. By this, readers are sure of what your blog stand for, what the blog is going to offer them and why it has to be read now. So make it clear, catchy and always simple. Remember that old saying, it is always better clear than clever.

—Create an 'About Me' page

Aside your home page, your about me page is the next most frequently visited part of your website or blog. Why do you want to send your readers running because you failed to do your homework. Make your about me page inspiring, clear (always), and if possible with a reason or history or story behind it.

—Have a clear design

There are so many blog themes out there and essentially several free ones. Create a clean, fresh, and professional design. if you need help, pay the price for a premium templates. Don't worry you will reap the benefits later— as satisfaction or monetary value. I have visited many blogs and I get irritated and turned off by a clustered, cumbersome, spammy page like cockroaches and ants hanging as well as webs everywhere in a living house. You are left no other option than to run for your dear life.

—Have a easy comment link or button on every page with a post and around your blog.

We are often tempted to think readers would go looking for a comment link somewhere at the back of the book but they don't. Ask them and write it boldly and in italics, 'I love to hear from my readers'. Similarly a subscription link, facebook link and other social media link should not be far fetched.

—Have a contact page
We could easily excited about blogging and sending in post that we let alone little things such as a contact page. So, list a means by which you can be contacted or use a contact plugin that direct mails to your inbox without writing full details about yourself.

Have a popular post thread and/or blog archive list

Make it easy for your readers to read through your old post easily without digging moles.Links and caption should be sufficient.
